On April 27 during the Jubilee of Teenagers, Pope Francis will canonize Blessed Carlo Acutis, the first saint of the 21st Century! Carlo passed away in 2006 at the age of 15. He was a “normal” teenager living in modern times who loved soccer, video games, and computers, but Jesus above all. Come discover his story, learn from his legacy, and let him encourage you in living out your own call to sainthood!
This overnight retreat will feature:
– breakfast, lunch, and snacks
– games, including a Mario Kart competition and scavenger hunt (Carlo’s favourites)
– time for conversation, reflection, and prayer
– a special night-time Mass
– the viewing of Carlo’s canonization

Where: Parish Centre (304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek)
Age Group: Grades 8 – 12
Cost: $25/student
– To complete your registration, please drop off your payment (cash or a cheque made out to “St. Francis Xavier Parish”) at the parish office (304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek).
– The mail slot in the office door can be used before or after hours.
