This Sunday, June 28, is the thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, and in the Gospel reading Jesus tells his apostles that “whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me”. Once again Jesus discusses the challenge of living the Gospel. Faithful discipleship comes with demands. But we are not to keep the Gospel message to ourselves – it must be proclaimed and lived no matter what the cost.
Sunday Masses will be celebrated at the regular times but with some restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Please note that this is the last Sunday before the summer months with the 4PM Mass.
Please know that those who cannot or are not yet comfortable joining us at the altar of worship physically here at St. Francis Xavier Parish can be with us spiritually by participating in the 9AM Sunday Mass, which will live-streamed on our YouTube channel. Before this Mass we will pray the Rosary at 8:30AM. To access the live-steam please click on the picture below.

This Wednesday we celebrate Canada Day, 153 years since Canada became a nation. I wish all of you a joyful celebration and invite you to join our parish community for the morning Mass on that day.
